The NASA Space Center is located on the Merritt Island, a large barrier island on the Atlantic Coast of Florida. From here and down to Vero Beach is a string of beautiful barrier islands which essentially make for one long neverending beach – Coco Beach, Satellite Beach, Indian Harbor Beach, Melbourne Beach, and so on.
