Zambia/Barotseland: Sioma Ngonye Falls

Sioma Ngonye Falls are tucked away in the hard-to-reach southwestern corner of Zambia and hardly get any tourists. The falls are not very tall, only 25 meters at the highest but very wide (almost comparable to Victoria Falls). The rocks around are a mixture of sandstone and some ancient lava flows, and some lava rock intrusions are quite picturesque and beautiful. Getting to the viewpoint requires some rugged sandy hiking.
