Zanzibar: Fish Market in Stone Town
Zanzibar is an island surrounded by the Indian Ocean so naturally fish is plentiful and a big part of the diet. The fish market is truly stunning to witness – there are live auctions going on for some massive hulks of tuna and skate, tons of other fish and shellfish on display. Not the most hygienic environment on the first look but the fish is super fresh.
