China: Guangzhou – Canton Tower at Night
Canton Tower is the fourth tallest building in the world and second tallest tower. It was built in 2010 and immediately became the symbol of Guangzhou. It rises to 604 m (1,982 ft) and is the most spectacular at night, fully lit with ever changing lights that run up and down, flicker, change colors, freeze, move around, and do all kind of epilepsy-inducing stuff. Locals call the tower “girl with slim waste” in an obvious reference to its structure.
