Austria: Salzburg – Exploring the City
Salzburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed to the rim with historical attractions beyond the castle (previous post 9) and the cathedral – next post 11). Mozart was born and lived here and the city commemorates all the houses he was associated with. Streets are lined with various Mozart related trinkets and coffee stands. Then there are about dozen churches around town. And finally, there are also fantastic views of the city from both sides of the river.
