Crima: Crimea South Coast

Crimean south coast is the most spectacular part of the peninsula – the 4000ft mountains rise dramatically from the Black Sea waters and the coastal road winds through the craggy cliffs and outcrops with spectacular seascape overlooks and viewpoints. The mountains often create their own weather system – it could be crystal clear over the sea and the mountain tops would be shrouded in thick clouds. The south coast stretches from Cape Aya in the west to Kara-Dag massive in the east. All the tourist resorts and attraction are clustered along the coast – Foros, Alupka, Yalta – with palaces, wine cellars, restaurants and beaches.
