New Zealand: Huka Falls

Huka Falls is a massive waterfall and rapids on the Waikato River draining the Taupo Lake. The volume of water flowing through Huka is nearly 220,000 liters per second, and while the falls are not high, it’s still a spectacular site of blue water smashing down in front of you. You can take a jetboat tour that goes up close to the waterfalls on a spinal disk displacing ride.
