USA/MN: St. Paul – Cathedral of Saint Paul

St Paul Cathedral is one of the largest cathedral building in the USA. Built in 1906-1915, it rises to 307 feet (93 m) with a massive copper dome and overlooks the downtown St Paul from a high hill and sits 3000 people. The classical renaissance style structure is very closely modeled on the St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican City. It is the National Shrine of the Apostle Paul, so named by the Vatican in 2009, and is a pilgrimage site for many Catholics in America.
