Philippines/Luzon: Boracay White Beach

The White Beach is the main attraction in the Boracay Island, stretching for around 4 km along the western shores of the 10km long island. The sand is immaculately sparkling white, the water is crystal-clear with gradual bottom and gentle waves, and the palms away all along the beach. It not overly crowded at all and plenty of room for relaxing and photo-ops. It definitely is beautiful, but not mind-blowing. It probably beats the Palawan beaches also in Philippines, or Thai coasts, but overall it’s a typical SE Asia resort destination, pales in comparison with French Polynesia. The sunset wasn’t bad either, especially after a couple of 2-for-1 happy hour cocktail specials. Boracay was closed for almost a year in 2018 to rejuvenate the beach and environment and it surely looks like it worked well.
